I have lived in the suburbs or small map dots around Houston TX my whole life and likely always will bc of this I have some strong country roots or as I call it "country fried traits" that come out pretty frequently. For the most part I'm just your basic suburban housewife and mommy, I like to say I won the redneck lottery bc I found a smart good looking man who was willing to marry me and I'm lucky enough to stay home. There are a few other ways you can achieve the redneck lottery like getting a settlement for an injury or actually winning the lottery, but I went a little mainstream, lazy I guess :). I love all things craft or art, as well as any projects you might see on hgtv or in bhg. I'm always trying new things be it a recipe or attempting to decorate my closet like a room. I have lots of cheapskate tendencies and my taste can be a little garish (I am a texan) so some of the ideas are big fails or misadventures but learning experiences just the same. As dr Phil says " it's only a mistake if you don't learn from it, if you learn from it then it's tuition," (of course I watch dr phil and sadly quote him, some of his little nuggets of wisdom are catchy I can't help it).
