Nana's Famous Peach Cobbler

This is a favorite dessert of mine.... Several others are fond of it as well! This is my Nana's famous recipe, its the type of recipe that should be guarded w/ lasers in the Smithsonian but that's not how we roll. She gave it to me on the back of a Publishers Clearing House mailer (bottom torn off and sent in already b/c "you never know"). The lesson here is this: always pass on a good recipe its good karma at the very least people will really appreciate the kindness. So here goes:

Nana's Famous Peach Cobbler

1 can of sliced peaches*
1 stick of butter or margarine
1 cup of bisquick
1 cup of milk*
1 cup of sugar

1. Pre-heat oven to 350.
2. In a med sauce pan bring peaches to a boil.
3. Melt butter in casserole dish.
4. Combine milk, sugar, bisquick and whisk.
5. When butter is melted add bisquick mixture, then distribute peaches evenly w/ spoon.
6. Bake 30 mins.
7. Serve.

* Substitutions: 2 fresh peaches sliced, pitted, and w/o skin boil peaches until tender. Any kind of milk will work if you are vegan or lactose intolerant, I like to use coconut or almond when possible.
